The company was established by Albert and Berenice Chauvet in 1990. The company is widely recognised for its ability to bring successful product concepts to market, including, the development of LED colour mixing fixtures suitable for a larger consumer base. Originally the company only offered its products to DJs and clubs.
In 2010, due to the growth of the company all of the offered lighting products were divided into two separate product categories - Chauvet DJ and Chauvet Professional.
Chauvet equipment is sold worldwide under these four main brands: Chauvet DJ, Chauvet Professional, ILUMINARC, and TRUSST. Each of the Chauvet brands is developed to meet the needs of various customers, but all of them are united in the goal of the company to have a positive influence in every market segment by building strong competition and the benefits it brings to the customer in respect to value, innovation and performance.
Chauvet DJ is a brand of the globally recognised stage lighting equipment producer Chauvet which is focusing on the demand in the entertainment and club industry. The product range of the company includes a complete package of equipment and accessories necessary for lighting effects: moving heads and scanners, wireless and battery-operated fixtures, backlights and strobes, lasers, control panels, cables, switches and mounting elements, confetti machines and special effects equipment as well as all of the required aluminium trusses, stands, and transportation equipment.
Chauvet DJ is a frequent recipient of international industry awards.
